Can I switch from any provider?
You can switch from any ISP that works directly with Verizon, e.g. Verizon Online, AOL Broadband, Earthlink, and a number of small local providers. You cannot switch from ISP's, e.g Speakeasy, Megapath, that provide service through Covad or any other CLEC.
To switch, simply fill out the ISP Transfer form.
How long will the switch process take?
Approximately 5-7 business days.
What are FirstGate.Net services and rates?

Does FirstGate.Net offer Static IP addresses?
Yes, all our DSL lines come with Static IP addresses.
When will my billing cycle begin?
All FirstGate.Net services are billed on the 1st of the calendar months. Your charge will be prorated for the first partial month.
Will my old ISP stop billing me on that date?
You must contact your old ISP to inform them of the switch and make sure they stop billing your account.
Does FirstGate.Net require a term contract?
No, but we require a 30-day advanced notice if you decide to terminate your account.
